Chief.AI's MedicalVision module complements MedicalVoice by providing AI-powered document analysis. Physicians can photograph or upload handwritten prescriptions, lab reports, discharge summaries, and clinical notes. The system uses Chief AI's vision AI model to extract text from these documents, then applies pattern-based clinical entity extraction to identify medications, diagnoses, procedures, and dates.

MedicalVision supports JPEG, PNG, and PDF formats and stores extracted data as FHIR-compatible JSON resources. Supporting documents can be linked directly to audio transcriptions, providing a complete multi-modal patient record that combines voice and document data in a single clinical view.


Patient Management & Medical Records

MedicalVoice includes a comprehensive patient management system with unique Medical Record Numbers (MRN) in the format MRN-YYYY-XXXX. Every transcription and document is linked to a patient record, building a longitudinal clinical history over time.
